How do I add a new product?

After you've written at least one review of an existing product on MUA, you can add new products!

Adding a product to the MUA database

Search for the product you'd like to review here.  If it's not found, follow the prompts to add a new product, or click here. 

Next, follow these steps:

1. Select a category for the product from the Category dropdown menu. Tip: you must click with your mouse to select items in drop-down menus for the system to recognize the entry.

2. Choose the Brand from the Brand dropdown menu.

3. In the Product Name field, enter the product name in the correct order and spelling. Please do not include the brand, shade name, or volume (quantity, size, and/or net weight) in the product name field.
   When entering the product name, please refer to the product name that is listed on the brand’s official website (preferably US site). 
   *Note: Please do not enter the brand name in the product name field. If the brand does not exist in the MUA database and you have selected Unlisted Brand, please enter “brand name - product name” in the product name field. 
   Example: “ABC Cosmetics - Matte Lipstick” 

4. Click Add Product to write your review!

More Tips

• After you write your review and click Add Review, click on the link to the product name and you can then click Add Photo to upload an image of the product.
