What is a Troll?

A troll is a user who posts and comments on the Message Boards or sends Mail messages with the intent to insult and provoke.

This behavior is in violation of MUA's Terms of Service and will result in account removal.

The most effective way to discourage trolls is to ignore and disengage. If even one member engages with a troll, they will have a reason to return, and may target that member specifically with their posts.

How to Handle Trolls

1. Ignore posts or emails from or about trolls
2. Avoid writing posts or emails about trolls
3. Refrain from responding should you decide to read a troll's post or email
4. You may opt to block the user you consider a troll 

If a troll's content is directed at you personally, ignore the post(s), flag, and contact us directly. Please share links or screenshots of the violating posts so that we may intervene at our discretion.
