How do I Block another member?

 If you choose to Block or Ignore a member:

• no future Mail messages from the blocked/ignored member will arrive in your Inbox
• you will no longer see the blocked/ignored member's Profile
• you will no longer see the blocked/ignored member's Message Board posts
• the blocked/ignored member will no longer be able to view your Profile or Message Board posts
• the blocked/ignored member will be notified that you have chosen to block/ignore them
• please do so privately

Important: Posting or commenting on the Boards about a member you blocked or were blocked by, and posting or responding to polls about members you have blocked or were blocked by, will be treated as a violation of the Terms of Service (TOS) and your account may be suspended. If you are blocked or ignored by a large number of members, your account may be suspended.

Blocking on the Boards

Be sure you are in Snappy Board mode.

While viewing a message, you will see links to Reply, Quick Reply, Flag, etc. under the message content. Click on Block [Username] to block the member.

Ignoring in Mail

When reading a Mail message, you have the option to ignore, or block, a member by clicking Ignore this Member.

How to Un-Block a Member

You may review and manage your list of blocked members and unblock a member at any time.

1. Click the Mail link under the MakeupAlley logo to enter the MUA Mail system

2. Click Ignore List from the lefthand menu to view the members you have blocked

3. Click the box next to the member(s) you wish to unblock and click Stop Ignoring Selected Members
